Terry Swanborough
A badly composed picture that was taken by myself early in the morning.
Well now you have got over the shock of the picture I can tell you a bit about
myself.
I am a partner (1 of 3) in a small electronics firm called MB Electronics
which manufactures radio transmitters and receivers for use in security and medical
environments.
A lot of our printed circuit boards are PIC micro-controller based so I spend a lot
of time writing programs in assembly language, practically all my computer knowledge
comes from using Acorn machines from my first the Acorn Atom to my current being
a RiscPC most of the assembly language was learnt using a BBC model B.
Unfortunately I have to use PCs for some of my PCB work I must say that if
I had started off using these computers first I would probably be a brick layer by
now. I am not used to having to reload the computers operating system all the time?.
I have started teaching myself C/C++ over the past few years and have many programs written
for my own use, the only one I have released is RiscPCB mainly because this is the most
complete program I have written so far.
